Michael Jackson O2 Concert Tickets Makes For A Thriller Summer

Concert tickets for Michael Jackson at The O2 in London this summer during June and July, are going to be the most sought after items on the web, not only in the UK but worldwide.

It's been reported that he signed a deal today that could have been worth up to £100 million. Tour dates for this residency at the former Millennium Dome are yet to be confirmed, likely tomorrow. Some sources online are saying it could be between 10 and 30 dates, but that's a lot of live performances! We will have to wait and see.

I'm sure there will be surge online for these tickets. And at a ticket price which has been suggested to be from £75 upwards, you can see how a 20,000 seat arena will net Wacko Jacko a much needed fortune to clear his debts.

I'm a fan of Michael Jackson, have got all his solo albums, and was even an Official Michael Jackson Fan Club member when I was a kid. So the thought that he can still fill a stadium at the age of 50, is beyond belief. He truly is the King of Pop.

I saw his HIStory World Tour concert at the Sheffield Don Valley Stadium in 1997. That was an incredible concert to say the very least. His entrance onto the stage in his space pod crashing through the stage floor, remains one of the best I've ever seen.

After 10 minutes of screaming from 50,000 fans, the doors of his silver shuttle open to expose his silhouette. More waiting and more screaming he steps forward onto the stage in a typical Jackson pose. More screaming and waiting for another 5 minutes. Whilst he stands motionless, it was enough to get the hairs on your body standing up in anticipation of his next move. And with that, the music kicks in and frenzy begins. The best bit...I was about 3 people from the front, so the 8 hours waiting outside the stadium was worth it.

I remember the newspaper headlines the next day, "Wacko Jacko Backo In BacoFoil". A brilliant headline. You can guess what type if outfit he was wearing.

Will I buy tickets to the Michael Jackson's O2 concert this year? Maybe. But you would have to get the early dates, so this legend doesn't burn out after the first month.
